Overview
The Victorian floods which started 6 October 2022 caused varying degrees of damage to community infrastructure and assets including recreation reserves, public halls, multi-use facilities and caravan parks managed by voluntary committees of management on Crown land.
Applications for DEECA’s Flood Recovery Grants for voluntary committees of management are now closed, however eligible voluntary committees of management can still access Emergency Recovery Victoria’s free clean-up program.
Emergency Recovery Victoria’s free clean-up service
Emergency Recovery Victoria (ERV) offers a free statewide clean-up and structural assessment service for flood-impacted properties, which includes Crown land reserves managed by voluntary committees of management.
ERV is experienced in providing recovery clean-up programs and offers a streamlined and coordinated program.
For more information and to register on or before 14 May 2023, visit the Emergency Recovery Victoria website and contact your closest DEECA Land and Built Environment team via email (See below).
