Our platforms and services run 24/7, 365 days a year and our support is available during business hours via the GIS Help Desk.
Our spatial services are hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (give or take some maintenance time). You can email us at the GIS help desk if any of our services are unavailable.
Our response time will vary according to the severity of the incident, but on average:
- Incident response time: 1 business day
- Incident restore time: 2 business days
At the GIS help desk, we can help you view our interactive maps on MapShare, find and download data from DataShare or integrate our data into your applications via our web services.
We don't produce hard-copy maps, but you can print a map from our MapShare maps.
Support hours are: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday (excludes Public Holidays)
Our response time will vary according to the complexity of the request, but on average:
- Support response time: 1 business day
- Support resolve time: 10 business days

Managing your account
Having an account with us will enable you to login and use some extra data and features. You can create and manage your account via MyProfile.
Vicmap help desk
The Vicmap team, which creates and maintains Victoria’s authoritative state-wide suite of foundational spatial data, has moved to the Department of Transport and Planning. Any questions related to Vicmap data or services should be emailed to the Vicmap help desk.
