The State of Victoria and Commonwealth of Australia have been working towards the recently released modernised Regional Forest Agreements to ensure they meet the needs of Victorian communities, industry and the environment.
A number of community drop-in sessions were held and provided an opportunity for Victorians to ask questions and provide feedback on how to improve the Victorian RFAs.
Representatives of the Victorian Government (Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions) and Commonwealth Government (Department of Agriculture and Water Resources and Department of Environment and Energy) were present at each session.
